These Terms of Use govern your use of Jude, a personal AI goal coaching app operated by Jude ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using Jude, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Jude is a personal AI goal coaching app. It provides personalized daily tasks, coaching guidance, and behavioral insights grounded in published research. Jude is not a medical service, mental health service, therapy, or clinical treatment of any kind.
Jude is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or medical emergency, contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately.
Jude's tasks, coaching responses, and insights are generated by artificial intelligence. AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your particular situation, and it may occasionally produce content that is wrong or out of context. You are responsible for using your own judgment before acting on anything Jude suggests.
Guidance is informational only and is not professional advice. Do not rely on Jude for decisions that require medical, legal, financial, or other professional expertise.
Jude is free to download. Jude Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
These terms are between you and Jude, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Jude or its content. To the extent Jude is acquired through the App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and any conflict is resolved in favor of these terms where permitted.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Jude, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app.
You own the content you provide to Jude -- your goals, reflections, and conversations. By using Jude, you grant us a limited license to use that content to provide and improve the coaching service. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You agree not to:
Jude and its content -- including the app design, coaching frameworks, and evidence library -- are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Jude without our written permission.
Jude is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that Jude will help you achieve your goals, that it will be available at all times, or that it will be free of errors. Coaching guidance is based on published research but individual results vary and are not guaranteed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Jude. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Jude will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Jude after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Jude, and you may not transfer your rights under them without our consent.
